Technology Ideas
For teaching a lesson on synonyms, I will use the overhead to display an enticing activity sheet for the students to complete as a class. I will then display a powerpoint with 1 word written on one slide while the students must come up with a synonym and write it on their personal whiteboard. This way, students can do their own work and they can see the word written on the overhead so they will be able to visualize it better and see the spelling!

ReplyDeleteAimee - I just got your email. I was assuming here because you used the term powerpoint that you were referring to a computer overhead projector - not just an overhead that uses plastic sheets.
ReplyDeleteA regular overhead projector that doesn't connect to a computer doesn't meet the requirements of this assignment - please read the assignment description.
I would be happy to sit down with you to think of additional ideas. There is also technology that can be checked out from the school of education for you to use.
